It is always great to read where people pick up research information and start telling others about the power of mushrooms. It is particularly pleasing when we see health professionals helping to spread the word, because it adds an even deeper layer of credibility to the mushrooms and health message.

A recent Diabetes Food And Health Seminar is a great example. The seminar featured Senior CSIRO Research Dietitian, Pennie Taylor, talking about healthy eating for diabetes. The website leaves readers in no doubt about where mushrooms fit when it comes to health. "Pennie will discuss the important role mushrooms play in our health and will help to apply current research around healthy eating for diabetes via the CSIRO Diet and Diabetes Lifestyle Plan."
